4ROC- Dont Let it Die
#21
Sounds like there's already been a good response, but I am willing to lend a hand as well. I'm pretty good with HTML, decent with Photoshop, and can punch my way out of a thin paper bag.
I would try to go with a commercial web host if possible. I'd be willing to kick in a few dollars to help get things started.
What type of content do you guys want to include on the site(s)? I think the following would be pretty obvious:
1. Member rigs
2. Trail run and meeting schedules
3. Trail reports and pictures
4. Charter and membership information
5. Links to other 4Roc chapters, Yotatech, etc.
Anyone have any other ideas?

If it's worth anything, I would think a commercial host would be a better bet from the get-go. I'm sure it won't take long for the ball to get rolling and more people to start signing up once they see it's the real deal. Why go through the hassle and "paperwork" of changing hosts when if you shop around, one can probably be found for decent price? I'm sure most members would be ok with chipping in a few extra $$ if necessary in the beginning to do everything right... If in fact it wouldn't be worth it and member participation would have to be pretty high to have the need to switch to a commercial host, then I stand corrected.

Hey thanks for inviting me KevyWevy I’m definitely interested as I’ve lived in Washington my whole life (favorite place to live in the world). The only reason I’m holding off is that I got laid off in January and I have an offer in Florida
, Mexico(Mucho Tequila), and I'm waiting to hear back from a possibility in Seattle. If I end up getting to stay here--I'm in for sure
Anybody know of any purchasing/buyer positions? I have a Bachelor of Science and a few years of experience If you can get me a position I'll buy you many
Thanks,
Frosty
