For the Limited Digital Climate control dials on a 99' MFG Date Nov 98' will bulb # 81850-35050 work, I've been back and forth with Toyota giving them my VIN to get the right bulb and after them getting it wrong 2 times?? I suggested we try #81850-35050 after a google search, but now I am seeing other write up's suggesting #81850-35030, mine has a blue base with the green condom on it.. Again this is for the bulbs that illuminate the dials, so now that I suggested 81850-35050 I am wondering if they will work or do I need #81850-35030?? I can't see there being a difference between early 99 and late 99 and I have no idea if the climate control is original but it should be, but I do know it has a blue base and from what I gather the different coloured bases are different voltages.

 

Well it turns out #81850-35050 is a green base 110ma bulb with green condom is built of the correct configuration to fit, but after making Toyota pull up the schematic I was able to confirm that it should be 81850-35030 blue base 80ma with green condom,... I was a lil mifed that they couldn't tell me this 2 weeks earlier and 3 attempts later after giving them my VIN a couple of times, and being so disturbed by the incompetence I walked away with the 81850-35050 green base and figured it would be fine.., lets hope it doesn't have any negative effects on the digital climate control as they are like gold since they have problems with the Pots getting dusty and finicky.
