Climate Control screen lights

Just wanted to post up that I changed my climate control LCD bulbs and the ones that were mentioned in the tech section weren't available at any of the dealers close to where i live, so i took the bulbs into the dealer and they were able to find ones that were pretty close to the ones needed just the part that has the molded in hooks were a bit thicker I just got a razor blade and cut it back a bit, really easy works fine.

The part number is 90010-09017 and i picked mine up from Dublin Toyota $5.52 each (yea i know expensive for a damm bulb but they always mark up the crap here in the bay area, at least it seems to me they do).

I had to replace one bulb on the far right side of the climate control screen, but I thought that since I had it apart, I might as well change every bulb I came across on the way in and out...... Good Lord! Talk about a "bulb hunt".

I had to return to the dealer several times... they had to order the stupid things over and over (they even had my VIN) until after two weeks they finally got the numbers right. What a PIA.

At any rate, I'm glad your experience was reatively easy!

James

climate control

Don't mean to jack your thread...but I am still having a rough time with my climate control. The buttons just don't seem to do anything. I took it all apart and cleaned all the buttons with electrical conector cleaner, still no good. Mostly the "auto" "AC" and "mode" buttons. Any idea's or opinions would be great...I really don't want to shell out the $800 for a new one.

I noticed your part # were different from write-up. How can I be sure I am getting the correct ones? I just need the LCD display lights.
