Looks good Blake.

What do you mean by "level kit"?

Is this just the tundra coils with the Top out spacers (1 each side)?

I went wheeling with a guy who had the Tundra coils and was kinda shocked at how little it flexed (stuffed). It could not event get close to the bump stops. Just seemed like very little up travel.

Any good front stuffed pics of a Tundra coil lift out there?

yeah, one top out per side. basically saying its level from front to back instead of the huge amount of rake I had before.

They do stuff quite well.

Good point. It does look like it is traveling up much better than I have seen though. I am wondering if it is a weight thing. The guy I saw this past weekend has a trimmed stock bumper so very very light in the front compared to mine and Steve's.

I am starting to understand that there is no such thing as an "ultimate" set up. Just have to try different stuff and find something that works well for my rig. Too many variables between rigs and wheeling style/types.

It's not just the tires. With the same set-up in the front, mine would stuff nicely with 285s. I just had a bit more clearance between the fender and tire than Steve has in the picture. Now...not so much.

To me, the "ultimate set-up" is whatever works for you. It just so happens that for me, it is the SS #1 (with a few exceptions).

I had one on my 99 Taco xcab for about 4 mon's. It rode rough and really did not have the performance I was looking for. I switched them out with Donahoe coil overs and was much happier but very broke $$$$$.

The guy I sold the entire coilovers with spacers on the original Bilstiens is still driving on them. He does not off road his rig at all so he seems pleased with them.

I would not use them again but some people say they like them.

The Revtek kit is pretty good, I have had good luck with it and I wheel whenever the chance presents itself.

1998 SR5 mostly stock. I am running stock so far but have been looking around for different ideas. Sonoran steel has a set-up that uses a bunch of different aftermarket pcs. and some Toyota pcs as well. It sounds OK but im still looking. I found them when I was looking for a rear bumper. Mine is rusting out like so many others I see.
