3rd Gen/Tacoma Front Lift Rollcall!

Ok, I want to see what everybody is running as their front suspension....do you like it? Have you tried anything else?

For me, I'm currently running 4x4 Tundra TRD coils with 2 top out spacers, and Bilstein HD's. I love it. I've tried stock, OME 882's, and also Sway-A-Way Coilovers. The Tundra coils trump them all!

Performance Products progressive rate springs/stock shocks. It was cheap and I have no complaints!

I ran OME882 and never found anything to compare. Now I had a solid front and it still doesn't ride like the 882

I have the OME coils/shocks up front with 1.5" cornfed spacers. For some odd reason, I did not get any lift after putting the coils/shocks combination.

I bet your coil cups were installed upside down....Isn't the ride REALLY rough?

Yes, the coil cups were installed upside down, and after I had them placed right side up, it probably gave me a 1/4 inch of lift if not less. This was all before I had the TJM bumper. I was so upset. I seem to have no luck upgrading my runner without any problems like some of you other members.

I used to have 881+spacers, than 882, Now I have Tundra coils with one top out spacer, same amount of lift as with 882 and much softer ride. This what I will keep.

Sadly enough, I can't really justify upgrading since I hardly ever take my truck offroad...grrrr

Im running OME 881's springs in front with 2 trim packers on each side, and OME 890's springs in back. With OME N91S and N86 shocks. I think the ride is great on and off road. They soak up EVERY bump and rock. I havent tried anything else so I dont know, but after the OME's I dont see any reason to change. Only thing is I wish it lifted it enough to run 285's with out a BL. I got 2.5" in front and 3" in the rear with this set up.

I had OME 881's with the N91S Shocks and loved it.
I added a winch and shackle hangers almost two weeks ago and when the front dipped I went to the 882's I imagine they will settle in a bit. For now I like the ride a bunch and the truck is level with all the weight up front. No CV issues so far either.
