I'm using the Tundra coils right now, just need a little more height with the help of bamachem's spacers. Be prepared for an order in a couple of days.

Revtek 3", with S.S. panhard drop bar. The ride is nice and smooth

I WOULD consider some DR Coilovers, but I'm holding off and instead going Total Chaos (or possibly JD Fab) long travel in a year or two. At that point, probably have to figure out what to do with the rear springs because they'll sag with those spacers in there...

As of last Friday night, I am running Bilstein HD shocks with my stock '99 4WD coils along with a Daystar 1" spacer (part # KT09105BK) on the front only. This brings the front to be level with (if not a tad higher than) the rear. See pic below. I'm very happy with both on- and off-road performance as I wheeled it all day Saturday and drove it around town as well. Vehicle is at Tempe TOYOTA now getting a 4 wheel alignment and Steve S is building me a 1" tapered diff drop since I got some CV grease blowout on both sides after I did the install. Just want to ensure worry-free longevity, so that's why I'm getting the diff drop even though I only went approx 1 1/2" higher. From there, my suspension will remain unchanged.

Stock coils, Rancho RSX shocks and Daystar 2.5" spacers. Ride is plenty stiff but the setup seems to wheel pretty well...expecially since I only spent $125 for the whole works!

Im using 03' Tacoma coils with 3'' toytec spacers. My rig is a 96 4R.

I will be getting the Sway-A-Way racerunners(hopefully soon). The spacers are just a temporary thing until I get the bling coilovers.

The ride isnt bad, although I cannot really say much because my old suspension was blown. So it kind of floated down the road. Its much stiffer now, and I like it, it doesnt sway all that much when turning.

TRD Tundra Coils + 1" of Bamachem Spacers (4)+ TRD Tacoma Struts+ SS Diff drop spacers. I couldnt be more pleased with set up, there is no sag and it handles very well. Though for some this might be a agressive handling setup it works well as Sonoran Steal has proven time and time again.

For what it's worth, High Speed Desert Coil Overs are not a very good fix for a winch bumper.

They are designed to take hard hits and rebound fast. If you want to hold your winch up, I would get a set of Tundra coils.

Probably 1" of lift, two 3/8" spacers would be 1" of lift. With that much top out, you had better be running limitinig straps, even with the shorter shocks.

Those axles will bind and cages will be ripped out.

you don't understand. the coilovers that you are referring to were designed for desert racing, and are actually not all that good for the slow stuff. they're stiff on the road and don't perform in the rocks all that well.

take a look at THIS THREAD for more info.

Are you saying that with 2 TO spacers in place equaling 1" I need limit straps? Or are you saying with more than that I would need the straps? Is this a evil ploy to get me to buy more stuff?

Thanks Steve

if you wheel w/ two top out spacers, you'll eventually break a CV. we didn't know that when we were first developing the lift. i had one top out, OME struts, and a front locker and still broke CV's. shorter struts, limiting straps, quit wheeling, or do an SAS are the only solutions. I don't even sell a double-set anymore...

No, I'm trying to stop you from breaking something. You needs straps right now. Two spacers is too many.

Only one, and that is with correct Toyota spec shocks.
