One more reason that you don't get your car lifted at a shop....

I've got cornfed spacers up front right now but I'm about to put the Revtek lift on. Only problem is that the cornfed spacers don't reuse the stock top plates, so the shop threw it away or whatnot when they installed the cornfed spacers. Of cource the Revtek spacers do reuse the stock top plates, so now I'm stuck. Anybody know what I can expect to pay the dealership for a set of stock top plates, or is there anywhere else I can get some cheaper??

I am not answering you question. But why do you want to go to Revteks now?

You could use the cornfed 2" with the revtek top out to get about 2.5" of lift and save your CV's???

 

Or, if you want 2.5" of lift, then get a pair of my HDPE top spacers and install them. If you want 3", then get two pairs. All you'll need are the spacers and the longer bolts for the cornfeds. Cornfeds are much better than the Revtek Stuff anyway.

I just figured I'd give something else a try. Seems like most people on yotatech have gone through several suspension setups until they found one that suited them the best. The Revtek kit is not too expensive, so if I like it then great and if I don't then I'll work out something else.

Anyway, if I added top spacers in the front to get 3" then I'd have to get rid of the spacers in the rear and add OMEs or Downeys to level the rear out, so it wouldn't really be any cheaper. And I'd have to get a diff. drop. Figured I'd see what Revtek is all about....I'm planning on doing the install in about a week so I'll let you know what I think...

 

My friend just went through the same problem, only he went back to stock to sell his so he definitely had to have the stock top plate. He got his from the stealership for $90 (includes rubber isolator and studs tapped in the top plate). He got his installed at the Lexus dealership and they threw his top plates out.

If the shop didnt return your stock pieces you should go back to them, and ask for them back.

Yeah I tried that....I put the lift on about 6 months ago though, so they said if they forgot to give them back that they were sorry and didn't have them. To bad sorry doesn't get me a new pair!!

Anyway, I talked to the dealership where I bought my car and they are going to get me a set. Kind of expensive, but gotta have them for the Revtek lift!!

 

Keep your confeds. Dont get the revtech it is not as good. I would do just like some of the others have sugested and keep the cornfeds and get a top out spacer. You will have more suspension travel that way than the rev tec spacer. I could be wrong but I think the revtech spacer is only 2.5 but when you put on there top spacer on it makes it a 3 inche kit. I would just get some ome 881s and a top out or two spacer call it a day. That way will get you 2.5 or 3 with top spacer. Way better ride and handleing than spacer set up.

You are petty much wasteing you money on the revtech.
