And that's all two of 'em!
No, there's probably more out there, its just so cost-prohibitive.
I was just looking at the ORS kit again today, but it won't happen any time soon.

I got the Kit for 900. Warn hubs. My FJ-62 Land Cruser has them too, Aisin hubs which are short throw and alot nicer.
FYI- 2 Tacoma Aisin hubs are over 400 alone. The Warn kit is around 100 bucks. You can see how fast the Toyota parts add up. CV's axle shafts, etc.

I didn't think they were) so in my opinion the kit shouldn't be that expensive. If it came with the Aisin's I could understand, haha, I still couldn't justify the cost right now so I still wouldn't buy it yet. I'll have to sell a few things first. haha. oh and get my arb lockers and regear before the kit. hehe.

1. This is the biggest hurdle. Price the complete Tacoma manual hub spindle. Genuine Toyota is what ORS used.
You need 2 complete spindle assemblies and the brass ring nuts that screw into them.
2. Buy 2 remanufactred Tacoma manual hub axle shafts. These are more expensive than the ADD ones and will run you around $100 each. You then have to turn in your 4Runner ADD axle shafts for the core and "hope" they don't notice that they are slightly different.
3. You'll need 2 Genuine Toyota bearings. These are 70 each. $140 there.
4. 2 axle shaft end clips and the washer that fits over the splines. Figure on $15.00, the clips are 3.00 alone.
5. Warn Tacoma hub kit. Figure on $100
6. 12 studs to hold the hubs onto the spindles. May also need a gasket or two.
*** Now given that ORS makes stonger and a bit longer center axle shaft pieces. The ORS axles are better and stronger but this would be the econo way with used stock Tacoma axles. You would have the smaller Tacoma inners and not the larger 4Runner inners. ***

The spindles and brass nut things I would imagine are going to be quite expensive.

Jeff the marmot has 'em you need to talk to him
Jeff the marmot has Warn manual locking hubs. He is the guy that helped Mike McCaskey (Off Road Solutions owner) develop the ORS kit. If you want to know anything about the manual hub conversion, you should ask him.
I know that he did not get an improvement in gas mileage like he had hoped, but he is still glad he did it. He has heaps of lift dialed into his 4Runner, and he keeps his hubs unlocked to reduce wear.
Hope this helps.

The reason I am asking is because I have a 2ND GEN. I bought some 3RD GEN rims - just like CRUZIN's rims (factory alloys)- and I was able to fit the rim perfectly on my 2ND GEN, however, when I tried to put the center cap, it didn't fit.
The way the 2ND GEN are designed, this cap won't fit. I tried forcing it, but since it's plastic, I was afriad to break it. All I need is about 3/8" more to fit in, but well, where do I get 3/8" from??
As the image shows, that gold cap at the end is the problem.
VICTOR, from these forums, told me I can buy the cap that will fit, which went with the manual hub, but I don't have manual hubs, and I don't want that hole in the middle.
Are there any other options??
