3rd Gen 4Runner UCA

I am getting ready to upgrade to 315's on my 2000 Runner. Are there any UCA's that I should stay away from or any that are better than others? Price is really not an option.

Most around here that have gone with aftermarket UCAs have gone with the Light Racing set. I haven't heard any negative feedback on them yet. I'd go with these if I were you!

Fat Bob's Garage has one of the lowest prices on the set at $379.99:

I really liked my LR UCA's. I put a set on my Taco and 4R in the last 6-8 months. I still do like them....but....I'm not happy with their finish. I'm not far from you in PA so I'm sure our winters are somewhat similar. Ours was not that bad this year and I noticed the LR's on my Taco have rust spots already. If I knew the finish was that half assed I would have cleaned them and epoxy primed them before installing.

So now I have to take them off both trucks and do what I said. Not bad for my 4R as it is a project and I have not gotten it aligned yet. This means I'll have to burn another 60 bucks for an alignment so I can refinish them on the Taco.

I too bought both from Fat Bob's. Good service and fast shipping. I heard Toytec will price match if you are buying other components from them.

I put on the LR UCAs on my 4runner last month, alignment came in all GREEN so I guess they are pretty good for that reason. I will say I've tried contacting them via email and through their website and I get NO response ever to any questions I have so I guess calling them directly is what you have to do. Same with Fat Bob's, no response whatsoever. Product seems fine, wish they would actually respond to questions though.

I've ran Camburg UCA's for a couple years now, they are great. Pretty much the same setup that Total Chaos makes. A little more pricey than the LR arms though.

I can't find the Camburgs with the ball joint on their website. But, I'll try the LR's. If I decided I don't like them, I'll give them to my buddy.

If you need a new buddy, put me on the list.

EDIT: Seriously though. If you don't like the LR UCAs, PM me and I'll buy them from you at a reasonable discounted price. I'm in the market and would love to get a set without breaking the bank.
