Greetings,
It seems to me that everyone really enjoyed beating on the kid with the 300HP tacoma. Intercooler on a roots blower is interesting and I'd like to see it. However, making 300 HP on a 3.4 is not so difficult to do, however, I don't think that he would know how.
You can get a 3.4 to run 300HP at the rear wheels without a blower if you want to spend the money and start with a short block.

Oh....yea....the 45HP "Standard" power loss through the drive train is horse poop. I think automatic vs manual and any modifications to the trans really trashes that.

Just my Nickles worth (adjusted for inflation, 2 cents)

MV

I am just sad because I was *REALLY* looking forward to hopping on a ferry and going over to look at that beast. He never did invite me, so I am disappointed and hurt :~(

The funny thing is i remember how he bragged about his bad ass system and I called him on it with my SS 1-2 install.

Right now I have a bit over 1/2 the power (9kW rms) with all bass coming from the cargo area and im a full 3 dB louder now then I was then.

I ask this out of concern (born, perhaps from ignorance)...Dude, hows your hearing doing? I like it loud and all, but I've just gotta hope you stand like 20' from your truck while its cranked up.

I must be getting old.

OK....all joke aside! My HP from the dyno is 312(without my header I just installed)!

You can see that at 2700 RPM's is were the nitrous hits! Without the nitrous you can see 190 HP at 3700 RPM's and is stay at 190 HP till 4100 RPM's!

It easy to see if you do the math......190 HP stock + 125 shot of nitrous + intake, exhust, MSD, cam's, SAFC II, chip, and Walbro fuel pump.

Their you have it.......a 300+ HP Tacoma!

I have two 99'-00' series orions (probably some of the best amps ever made, period) with one rated at a true 3000 watts and another @ 1800. No bulshi__ numbers there, I don't play that game. Your lack of knowledge on earthquake only heightens your lack of intelligence, but that is something out of my hands. ....Anthony

Figured I'd bring this to the top after doing some searching to find out about boost.

So Anthony/Eddie Vedder where are you now? Hell right now I'm only running 8800 watts of Zapco power. Amps that will SLAUGHTER the orions in EVERY aspect. As far as EQ stuff is concerned - I pee on EQ. Their amps bite, their customer service bites even more even though that defies comprehension...

I STILL am offering my challenge so when are you going to grow a set and answer me?

ps - roots blower + intercooler = BULL˟˟˟˟. We want pics. Also run LEAN at 11lbs of boost instead of rich? ROFLMFAO! If anything you must run RICH to prevent detonation at higher boost levels.

WHAT? I CANT HEAR YOU??

Actually I dont bang my system very much anymore due to hearing loss from past systems. I compete heavily with the system. Usually once or twice a month I'll open 'er up while driving. It's funny because almost immediately the cars around me will either speed up substacially or slow down to get away from my truck.

The rest of the time I have about 35dB attenuation or so on the bass so that it's more SQ oriented. I should have spent a little more time aiming my kickpanels, but for the minimal time I invested aiming them, I'm VERY pleased with the staging and imaging.

Having massive power on subs in a very efficient enclosure is just like owning a Z06, you dont have to drive at 160mph everywhere, just as you dont have to run the subs wide open everywhere.

If you or anyone is curious on the system I have TONS of pics, and I LOVE showing them to people. (Im an attention whore I admit it. LOL)
