Man, can you believe it? 2003-2005 and a facelift is coming in a year or two...things happen so fast!

Well, it's hardly three years it barely over 2 years to be precise. Three model years = as little as 2.1 years...
But yes time has flown by since we were all speculating about what they might be like on 4x4wire in the olden days before yotatech's birth. And then subsequently bitchin' & moanin' about the styling. I think most of us have come to accept the newer 4Runners (especially sans cheesy 1st year lego-esque cladding). It also hasn't hurt that they still are very capable trucks in the right hands. I am excited about the improved V8 coming in Jan....

hey man, i like my lego-esque cladding -- takes a hell of a beating from rocks and sand and other debris and doesn't show a thing of damage!!
plus, mine looks good with it.
i'm completely excited about our trucks, guys ... you will squeal like little girls when you hear all the parts we have coming! i squeal like a little girl all the time when i think about it.

okay, the old cladding isn't that bad and if you like it on your truck, that's all that matters, right? I removed the SR5 flares from my truck so I guess I am partial to less plasticy stuff hanging off the sides of my rig but that of course is IMHO.
