Update: I cleaned the throttle body and sprayed a little bit in the to the iac port and scrubbed it with a toothbrush and rag.
It started to idle very high around 1500 or 1750 i drove it and it eventually went down. It seemed to drive fine. But continued to idle high..
I decided to go ahead and replace my negative battery terminal and strip back some undamaged wire to reattach to my body ground. So i took it off for about 10 min i think this may have helped reset the ecu.
I believe this reset the ecu because the drastic high idle was gone. It still seemed to idle high though.
Maybe 1000 on start "Cold" i can't quite remember but then settles down to normal.
I still have a little bit of idle fluctuation but much of the shaking is gone.
Any ideas?
Could this be a fuel pump problem?
Do i need to wait for the ecu to relearn the changes?

Well guys my problem is still not fixed i still have the rough idle and somewhat of a jumpy tach sometimes it seems to happen at various times still and seems to idle a little high sometimes im not really sure.
My plans are to get the injectors out of the block and send them off to be flow tested and rebuilt. I forget the popular business everyone uses.
Ill let you guys know what the results are after they are sent off and reinstalled.

Just wanted to know if you have a strong gas smell from your tail pipe? I had the same problem weeks ago. I did everything you did cleaned maf, iac, wires, and plugs and nothing. I replaces all 6 injectors I found on ebay for $150.00 and now the idle and roughness is gone. I also replaced one coil pack the was arcing to the cylinder head.

well i see this thread has died off.
did you take your injectors in and have them tested?
I have a low kicking idle, when i come to a stop light after driving for about 30 min.
It goes away after 30 sec. or if i throw it in to neutral.
truck has 220,000 miles.
problem has been around for 40,000 miles or so.
changed the spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, coils, cleaned the trottle body and MAF
still keeps happening, summer time mostly

check your egr valve? ive got a buddys whos car's EGR vavle isnt working at all anymore, and u hafta sit on the gas all the time or will die because it has sucha rough idle. also, idk if this still exists on ur engine, but ik on my 95 3Rz there is a little valve thing on top of the egr valve connected to vaccum lines that u can adjust with an allen wrench, i think, and i was idling at about 1200 RPM and we adjusted it down to 800 RPM and it was nice and smooth
