hey all, i need some power mods that wont kill my gas milage to even worse then it is...i was thinking the elbow mod for sure, but mabey ill leave that and ill do a 4" thingamajig.... forgot what there called, cause i need more power when i tow my runner, and i need more milage to though, how much would exhaust help?

Do the 4" thingy.....you won't be sorry.

 

I would do the 4" thing-a-ma-jiggy instead of the elbow removal, because if you get into a water situation, you won't be able to protect that spot unlike the deckplate.

 

I haven't looked into it in depth but I heard a Borla or some other muffler/exhaust system could free up a few horses. Definitely Dr. Z's ISR mod but if you have an auto it'll slightly delay gear change.

Actually, if you peruse through the performance write-ups of the tech section I'm sure you'll find some good ideas!

You want fast and easy though?
Go to Autozone, buy and slap on as much Type R stuff, the japanese character stickers, racing stripes, stickers that say "Greddy"...

that stuff is outta my class, cant put those stickers on i wouldnt be able to handle the horsepower!

as of date though, i have drove my truck a little bit without the air filter lid closed, if that is anything like the "4'thingamajig," then i will do it, i actually went to get the wholesaw today but didnt want to spend 12 bucks for a pack of them cause i might have one. the isr mod seems kinda complicated for me, (actually im just to lazy to complete it) so im not going to do that yet, i was thinking about taking the cat out and gutting it, i figure that would help some. not sure thoug, then im gonna get a exhuast from the cat back,
i would change the spark plugs but man does that look difficult!
