3.4 JBA Headers
I haven't seen too much on here about the JBA headers. In my opinion they look pretty wicked, and are cheaper than the TRD's. I also like how they are seperate all the way to the bottom.
Anyone on here have them? If not how many of you want them now?

From what I've read, I thought the only three choices were TRD, Downey and Edelbrocks. Here's another one.
The consensus still is that headers aren't worth the hassle for a N/A motor. Unless someone else can chime in and say it's worth it, you won't get much interest on these.

For along time I thought about getting headers and was going to go w/ JBA. These are actually suppose to be quite better than TRD. The more I read I found the 3.4 stock manifolds are actually not too bad. I instead opted for the mandrel bent 2.5" cat-back sytem instead which I would have probably got anyways.
I cant justify the cost/work for headers that may add a little performance.
But yes, blown or turboed, I would do headers.

With hindsight being 20/40, I kinda' wish that my crossover was up above, but I think that if I would have had a real 4x4 exhaust shop make it, it wouldn't be an issue. My downfall was having a local exhaust guy do it that didn't understand the issues. I've since had everything re-done from the Y back, which helped TONS, and I may get the crossover re-redone at some point at a real shop.

Yeah, I guess you could "dip" the motor down a little on its mounts, which might do the trick. BTW, an older 5.0 LX Rustang with Summit Racing stickers on it wanted a little today, so I obliged. It was safe (we were merging on the freeway up an on-ramp). We weren't even "racing" until I realized he was pacing me in my blind spot. Then, when he thought he had had enough, I could hear him punch it to "get around the big slow SUV." I was ready in 2nd gear though, and put the pedal to the floor. We were neck and neck until I shifted into 3rd, which is when I started pulling away from him and he backed off. You should have seen the look on his face.
Maybe I do like my headers.

....with your setup I probably would have done the same.
