Built up a 3.0 engine o/s valves , cams , port polish heads/intake , bottom end also.
My question is are the 3.0 headers(north west offroad) worth $850.00CAD or will I see $850.00 worth of performance.
Any input would be great.

I have the downey ceramics on my 94 3.0. They are great. I didn't buy the downey crossover though, just had a complete system made, with great results.

 

better order them now for the spring. Theres a huge waitlist for them.

 

I have the NWOR headers on my truck and I love them. I also switched out the stock air cleaner box to the K&N FIKP at the same time. Don't know which one made more of an improvement but together they made a very noticable improvement in acceleration and gave the truck a nice throaty exhaust. After I added a Flowmaster 50 series muffler, the 4Runner sounds like a V8!

 

I have always wondered whether the NWOR headers are worth the $$$. I haven't purchased anything there in a long time. The last time that I bought something there it was the brake pads/shoes for my 94. They charged me a core charge, and when I went back to return the old parts they told me that they don't charge a core charge anymore, and refused to return the money that I paid. That was the last time that I bought anything from them. I am amazed that they are still in business.
