2ND gen quarters

Anybody know if someone supplies sectional body panels (specificaly rear quarters) for the 2nd gen runners. They all rust in the same place and it makes such a better job to weld in an entire arch rather than patch the rust holes. The Extend a flares are going on soon and i want to get the rust taken care of first. I'm getting antsy.

Any help appreciated.

Ask your local body shop. I bet they are available.

Theres a local place by me that deals with aftermarket body parts. However I guess that doesn't really help you. But shop around, look on the net. They are available.

I checked around with some bodyshop suppliers and i can find full quarters for runners and pickups but they're all $350-$400 canadian. I'm going to end up cutting out the arch and chucking the rest so i can't justify the cost. I've seen problem area pieces for other vehicles but not having much luck with the runner.

Thanks.

At one time Toyota had a partial panel that they were selling though the dealerships. A friend of mine got his right from a dealer in Calgary for his 2nd gen. Ask Reg At RCTS as he is one that did them on his. Here is his website. http://www.monsterhorsepower.com/

I guess it all depends on who you talk to at the dealer. I just called a second dealer and was told that toyota has a quarter repair panel available. Part numbers are: 61681-35040 and 61682-35040 for vehicles with moldings and 61681-35050/61682-35050 for vehicles without. They retail for $167 CAD each. I ordered them and should see them in a few days.

Thanks for all your help.
Keith.
