What do you get for mileage now? I had 265's stock since running the 285's and SS lift I was getting 17 flat.

not to hi-jack but i was also wanting this same comparison. Does anyone have 255s on a limited. I was just curious if they would look too narrow with the limited flares.

a bunch of pics of my 02 sport are at www.soaztim.com
The 02 flares seem larger than earlier ones. They may be as large as limited or close.
My .02 is that they look good. From the rear or front straight on they look skinny, but I think that some land cruiser wheels would work well to get them just a bit further out in the fender well.

imo...255's would look abit thin on a ltd/sport flared runner. lookup huskyrunner on this site..he's got 255/85's on stockers i think, and they look great. however...he's running SR5 trim sans flares.

id actually rather run 255's over 285's on a LTD...but on wheels that have less backspacing...that should also solve any rubbing issues.

not to threadjack, but i almost killed myself and my wife last september on one of those passes on the loop ....may have been engineer ..not sure. ...everything was cool until we got in the snow ...that was NOT fun. ...i almost slid off the road several times ....it would always stop right at the edge of the road.... after the first time, my wife decieded to walk until we got to lower elevation.
