Height clearance w/ 285s

im considering getting some 285s instead of 265s now, but i wanna be able to fit into my garage still. anyone with 285s know their height clearance??? thanks

I think the 265's are equivalent to my 31's aren't they?
The 285's are equivalent to a 33" tire I beleive, so you would gain anywhere from 1 to 2" in height.

yeah, plus the lift too. but i was wondering if anyone knew specifically that they couldnt fit in parking decks or drive threws or garages b/c they were too tall.

I have 2.5" front and 3" rear suspension lift and 1" body lift, 285 MT/R's and still fit in the garage, BARELY. No troubles with fitting anywhere else either.

No just an average sized garage, maybe even a low garage. I measured a while ago, but I forgot. I'll try to measure tomorrow.

I fit in the garage with 285's and a 3" lift...just do not open the tailgate :eek:
