Pro Com 285/75-16's on OEM Alloys

1. OEM springs and Daystar spacer lift.
2. No trimming done, however they do rub on factory mud guards when flexing and on the frame when i turn the wheel full crank to one side or the other.
3.
4. I didn't spend much money.... It gets the job done.

FWIW, the shop that test fitted the 285 Terra Grapplers used my stock 16x7 5 spoke rims.

I see alot of you changed out your stock wheels for others, is that because you wanted a wider wheel? Wont 285's fit on a stock 16 x 7 wheel?

1) OME 883s on N91 shocks up front
Cruiser coils with ProComp ES1000s in rear
*2" body lift*
2) No body rub whatsoever, tiny rub on a-arm, solving with 1/4" wheel spacers
3)

4) I absolutely love it

and about the wheels, yes 285s/305s and even 315s will fit on stock wheels, most change for look/backspacing. i think toyota nailed it right on the head with the 5 spokes so i got those

1) what lift kit you used, (shocks, spacers, coils, etc) in front and rear
Sonoran Steel #1.1
2) did you have to do any trimming to prevent tire rub?
Yes, minor up front. Pinch weld trimmed back and well liner trimmed. Still some rubbing on frame at full turn. No plans for a body lift.
4) Are you happy with your combination?
Works good, last long time.
3) A picture of your ride if you have one

I rub some onn the upper A-arms and Frame at full turn, How bad is rubbing like this for you tires? It isn't too bad...enough to where I think 1/4" spacers would fix it.

There are many factors that go in to rubbing. The main thing you have to ask yourself is how much wight your going to add to the front end of your vehicle...? Are you going to want to add an aftermarket bumper, winch, skidplates, if you have limited flares or if you want to add bushwacker fender flares etc. You have to match the lift to the amount of weight you plan on adding to the truck.

Matt, your 99 is amazing. How do you like the maxxis tires? What is the treadlife like? How much lift does the fabtech suspension give you?

1. LC rear coils and 2.5" Daystar front spacers with Rancho RSX shocks. 285's with stock wheels.
2. Minor rubbing at full steering lock. Trimmed running boards and front valance.

4. The setup works well, but would like another 5. - 1" in the front to match the rear.

Thanks for the compliment! I really like the Maxxis tires. They perform really well off-road and are really manageable through town and on the highway. I guess I've probably put 5k miles on them so far and haven't noticed any visual wear yet. My only complaint is that they spin quite a bit in the snow when in 2wd, but that is to be expected with mud specific tires and it is nothing 4wd can't take care of. The Fabtech coilovers are probably giving right around 2.5" of lift right now. I'd like to raise them up a bit to compensate for the LC rake but I'll wait until I send them in to be rebuilt to do that.

This is what my brother is running, and what I plan on running, except with MTRs.

1)OME 882/890 Rock Krawler 16x7 4"BS 285/75r16 BFG MTs
2)After alignment it only rubbed on the front bumper at full lock. had to trim millimeters off to keep it from rubbing. not a problem now that the ARB bumper is on there
3)
4) get the 10mm rear spacers. the truck still looks saggy otherwise
