guys a quick question about 285/75/16, will they fit the stock 5 star 4runner rims 16x7?? i saw a chat and it said thats its from 7.5 to 8 wide rims.......... have any of you had any problems or will it fit just fine?

 

The tire companies don't recommend it, but it works fine. I'm actually running 305s on my stock 7" rims, had em for over a year like that.

 

285's work fine on my coke bottle '02 rims, and can definitely see 305's fitting on there too. Wouldn't go any higher than that though (on a stock rim)
