I am going back to 285s this next set. I wouldn't recommend 305s w/ 2.5" since mine do still rub a little (only when flexed out to the max) in the rear. It's only about .5" of the outside edge of the back tires that touch the edge of my fender when the tires stuff so 285s will just fit in there w/o making contact.

I put the lift first, then tires.
I do have some rubbing (very little) when backing up and turning wheel. It comes from the tip of the bumper which sits inside the fender well. I don't care much as it so little, so I can't see the rubbing signs on the bumper, just the corner itself and I'll be changing it anyway to ARB very soon.

Just wondering how the toyec lift rides? I noticed compared to the soronan steel lift it doesnt come with brake line extensions, sway bar and e-brake adjustment pieces, panhard bar etc. I guess you dont need all of it to make this lift work?

Rides well and didn't need any of that other stuff to make it work. Once you get past 3" of lift in the rear you're more likely to need the panhard drop, extended brake lines, etc etc etc but 3" in front and back is the most common I'd say.

Basically Toyo and Nitto are the same tires. We love the Toyo, in my opinion BEST tire on the market. On my 4Runner I have ProComp AT for winter (Extreme MT for summer )which are also very good, but Toyo in 35 is nearly double the price of ProComps, so I gone with ProComp. My wife rides 33 where Toyo is only 20% more expensive, so we went with Toyo.

It rides great and didn't notice that I need an extra pieces. Time and experience will tell, but I think for not hard off-roading it should be good as it is.
