2005 Locker Mod?

I just traded my 98 taco for an 05, and have yet to look at the wiring for the 4wd module. I used to love my 2hi locker on and off the road - for wheeling and powerslides.

I remember on my 98 I simply had to ground the grey wire and I could use the locker in any transfer case setting, has anyone seen the wiring diagram or done the mod yet on their 2005?

Thanks.

Well... I took off my driver side kick panel and saw nothing resembling a 4wd computer. It is simply a huge amount of wiring and connectors. Without a manual, I am at a loss.

Has anyone got an 05 and gotten farther than me yet?

Check out TTORA, I'm sure someone there has gotten closer... I don't think there are too many 05 owners here yet

Well...

1. The 4wd computer is not the same brand as it was last time. It is an Aisin instead of Nippondenso and the wiring harness that plugs into it is completely different.
2. It is located behind the glove box.
3. I havent had time to experiment, but am still anxious to get it locked up in 2hi.

I would, but I have yet to even snap a picture of it yet - too busy working.

I'm leaving for baja next thursday - 2500 mile dirt bike ride, I need a break. :bounce2:

I'll see if I can get some pics sometime. I already have almost 10000 miles on it and no proof that I even bought it. Every day it rains I yearn for my locker...
