How hard would it be for me, someone with rudimentary mechanical knowledge (i.e.: next to none), to install fog lights into my 2002 4Runner? Would it make more sense to pay to have it done or is it something that I could actually do?

 

are you talking about after market fog lights, like some hella 500s. Or factory fog lights.

It's about as simple as it comes.

 

Wiring might be the only thing that might get you stumped. I suggest taking off the front bumper to make installation 10X easier. Make sure you get hella oem replacements and not the imitations on ebay.
