2000 4runner way to disable alarm

In my 2000 4runner, I need a way to disable the alarm setup (blinking red switch/button by my left knee) I think it is the VS3200 but not sure. Is there a connection in the center console that I can unplug or something else that will disable it but NOT the door locking remote function?

I have tried the valet turn off method but cannot disable it for some reason.

Arrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Well you schematic should tell you how to do this.

You do have one for the alarm??If not you should be able to get one.

Naw, I don't have one. I have been searching and reading and there seems to be a connector down near the console around the airbag area that can be dis-connected but I am not 100% sure which one..

If its the factory alarm, the "brain" is probably under the drivers seat. At least thats where it is on my 97. Unplug the two small plugs. If you unhook the brain all together the vehicle will not start.
