I noticed something strange with my A/C today. When I shut it off completely a small amount of cold air continues to come out of my vents. Does anyone know what this might mean?

I also noticed that when I shut off my ignition, my speakers let out a *thump* noise. I have a aftermarket JVC CD player, but this just started happening. What a day...

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

as far as the A/C ... that used to happen in my mom's suburban ... i think it continues to leak some air in from outside. all i know for sure is that it happens in a lot of cars/trucks ...

Sounds like a ground loosened up on you. I have a problem where I've getting some thumps also. I used a Metra harness, but I think a wire might have rubbed some insulation off.

Check your connections and make sure they're all good.
