2" BL installed...**Updated Pictures**

Got my 2" 4Crawler body lift on today. Total time it took for me by myself to install was about 4 hours. I could have probably gone faster, but, it was pretty much a cake walk.

The steering extension was not a problem at all, as Ive read over and over that it has caused problems. I just jacked up the drivers side first, and slipped it right on in there.

Here are some pictures:

Drivers side jacked up and putting spacers in:

Front spacers

Weird finished picture... :/

Im happy with the outcome. It actually doesn't seem all that bigger really. It will be nice once I get some larger meats to fill in the wheel wells.

Looks good! It doesn't look like it will fit in that garage!

I am hoping Santa will bring me a 1" 4Crawler BL for Christmas.

Yeah, no ˟˟˟˟!

If you look there, under my jack, I have 2 boogie boards, an old surfboard and 2 2x4's just so I got enough height when I jacked up the truck... lol.

Yeah, and that wall sucked.

I'll get some better pictures of the finshed product here soon.

I really like the way it looks. The tires dont look insanely small either.

Did you have to lengthen any wires? Did your shifter drop at all?

Didn't have to lengthen any wires. I had to take off a few screws that were holding down the positive wire harness from the battery. My 4x4 shifter moved down, but, its not a problem. I have an automatic, so no change there...I just moved the ajusting nut a little to the right.

I never could drive in the garage in the first place. Its full of crap and tools! Plus, the house was built in the 40's, so there aint much room in there anyways.

I hate boogie boarders, and boogie boards. Thats why I used them. You know what though...they worked very well! Since they are spongy, nothing rocked or was unbalanced!

This has become quite the thread...you have me laughing pretty hard on this end!...lol...

Looks like it came out pretty damn sweet, reminds me of when i used to have to take flagstone out of my alligators tank to get more height with my jack. Nice work...time for some 35's???

Yep. In the rear end, you can see the gap between the body and the frame. Fortuently, all you have to do is get some plastic from a hardware shop and attach it in there.

I'll be posting some stuff on it, when I get around on doing it. I found some perfect rubbery-plastic black floor lining which I will be using. I'll probably attach it with some metal screws.

35's... I wish Id imagine I could fit them in there now, but, I would need to do some regearing! I dont have that money right now.

I ordered some 305/70/16 Pro Comp mud terrains, so they are on their way.

Right now I have 265/75/16 on there, with 50% tread... :/

Only in Santa Cruz........... I know the type.........

BTW, I found some rubber sheeting under the cutting table in the rear of OSH in Capitola. It's to the rear of the store on the right hand side where you'll find rope, chains, screen, etc. Worked great for me.

Lol

Yeah, I actually saw the same stuff I think. I went there on Sunday and there were 3 different rolls of it. It has a flat side and a ridged side.

Donno if its the same or not but it ranged from 2.99 to 4.99 a foot, depending on the width.!

looking good bro!

couple questions as I will be putting my BL in next week

1> did you install the front bumper brackets or the radiator brackets? Do you have any after pictures of the front bumper if you did not use the brackets, and did you need to trim anything on the rad?

2> glad to hear how easy the steering ext was, I too heard this was the only part that was a pain in the arse. So you are basically suggesting getting to it from the driver side?
