1_what is this? see attached pic. it's says Z-LOCK on it. i've had my truck over a year, but it's starting to bug me that i don't know what it is. if i have no key i'm sure it's useless, just curious.
2_ i moved to oregon. it rains here, a lot. i have no garage and would love to buy a soft top so i can take the shell off for longer chunks of time [given i am 5' tall, it's a difficult task].
a fellow i know suggested contacting a boat top maker to assemble one, said his buddy had gotten one for $200 that way [a few years ago]. has anyone tried this?
that or i will sell my first born and get a kayline/can-back i suppose...

yes - that must be what it is... useless without the keys, plus nobody would want my truck
i'd seen the wild yoats post... looks like quite a project! might be worth it, and at least i'm a little lady with a sewing machine. otherwise, yeesh, those tops are expensive.
thanks!

For a soft top you could try Specialty Tops. http://www.specialtytopco.com/ Half the price of the Can-back tops...

so did you make your own with the sunbrella fabric? i'm not familiar with OEM, either... i think i could attempt the home made version - is it really waterproof when sewn?
