Thanks for the writeup! Just a tip, you are not supposed to remove the white retaining clip to take the crimps out. You just have to lift it up until it stops moving (do not force it).

EDIT: I see that you mentioned the above already and I missed it. Anyways....an extra reminder for anyone else who misses it.

You are right the picture is misleading. I'll rectify this shortly.

Nicely done Blarchitect, as a matter of fact, I picked up another radio bezel and the pigtails this past weekend on my latest boneyard excursion. This one came out of a 99 limited but the wing nut who removed it had no clue and did major damage to the lower portion of the bezel, seems he tried to pry the thing out before removing all the screws then cut (yeah he really did) the 12vdc connectors from all 3 locations using diagonal pliers to cut the lower holders open to pull out the outlests. This is gonna be fun to replace.

My intention with this bezel is to do what you have done so far along with trying to figure out the wiring for all the other connections. If I can figure out what goes where, then I'll rewire what I need to and then use the pigtails as necessary. If it requires soldering will not be a problem for me as I use mil spec soldering at work. Been certified so this will be a piece of cake, trudt me.

As for the connectors, I would rather not cut and splice on this, I have taken several connectors apart for other projects and its not that hard once you figure out what connector is what and how the pins are held in. FSM is very helpful when it comes to that part. If I get this up and going, I will document my conversion as well. If you get it figured out first don't hesitate to post it!

I've figured out the Alarm LED(extended from my existing alarm indicator) and the Passenger seat belt warning LED (wired into drivers one at Combination meter) Can't find the time right now to complete write-up I started two weeks ago!
