Looks good. I'm not really feeling the Toyota emblem on the hood, though. Are you going to put "T O Y O T A" in the grill?

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the satoshi mod was when you put the "toyota" emblem in the grill like the on landcruiser's had.....?

I too am not real fond of the emblem on the hood, but to each their own. At least you recognize that Toyota's kick-a$$!

the "Gutter Gaurd" was 7 dollars from lowes.. and it took some time and some .032 safety wire
as for taking off the emblem... NEVER!!! i got fond of the look during my times deployed in the middle east.
as for the headlights they are 6000k Zenon H.I.D.s

The emblem sets you apart from the herd. Don't take it off!!

That looks so bad. It's going to look really bad once you put all that other stuff you mentioned. Can't wait to see the pics

Looks clean the way it is. Not a big fan of the hood emblem, but that's what makes all of our rides different and I think adding anything else to the grill will be overkill since you have the hood emblem.

I think the hood ornament is kind of cool actually... with the Satoshi it looks very high class... just out of curiousity what did the ornament come off/where did you get it?...

The Satoshi mod has several variations now... the original was a grill mod with the old LC "TOYOTA" but it has morphed over the years. All of them [to date] however have replaced the bulky plastic grill with a finer mesh of one type or another. The main goal is usually appearance though there may also be an increase in cooling airflow through the rad depending on the style you choose.

edit: looking again at that ornament has me thinking about the one off a late 70's T-bird... I wonder how it would look? guess I need to find a pic and photoshop...

well i was thinking about the other emblem and i think i am going to put them ont the side in front of the doors where the "Ranger" badges were on my ranger. that way the lights have a clean unobstructed path. as for the emblem i ordered it from Hong Kong off of Ebay. i just went and searched anf couldnt find a chrome one, just a gold one off of a camry..
P.S. im surprised someone hasnt said anything about my purple skid plates yet..

nice and inexpensive to boot- I like the hood ornament, that is a classy touch if you ask me, and all the better to impale the pesky neighbors running out in front of the truck....

I could not see the purple skid plates in the photo

I'll take a look on ebay for the ornament.

I just found that gold hood emblem here's the linky.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...m360056388053&

Not bad for $15.00... But I'd prefer the chrome one also...
