I saw an add online today for this toyota... Is it a 4-runner? or a truck? thanks if any of you guys can help... HB?

ya, they made an sr5 w/ a clino meter, transfer case and the whole bit, actually very nimble little boogers, but not at all what im looking for, BTW honda made a 4wd civic back in the day also...

wierdly enough, you could get a 4wd tercel with a 6 speed transmission. it was basically a 5 speed, but it had a granny low gear below 1st.

Really? Any idea how low or what tranny it's a derivitive of? Sounds interesting.

probably won't bolt up to an R series engine, i can't even remember the designation for the little 1.3 in the tercel. my guess would be that it isn't the strongest unit out there.
