180k Refresh
Well, my 4Runner is about one oil change away from hitting 180k, and I want to perform a full maintenance baseline. I got it at 130k and I just want to replace a lot of the standard items so I can know how long they've all been in there. Here is my list of things to do, let me know if I'm forgetting anything:
Fluids
-Transmission flush and fill
-Oil
-Coolant flush and fill
-Power Steering
-Brake
-Differential
Belts & Hoses
-Timing Belt & Water Pump
-Accessory belts
-Coolant hoses
-New tranny cooler hoses
-Close off bottom of rad (former transmission hookup)
-Air Filter clean (K&N long life filter, will be around 50k on it)
I don't need plugs as those are fairly new. Am I forgetting anything?

At 180K i would replace:
**02 sensors
**TPS
**Clean & Test the injectors
**MAF--If you got the dough or buy a back-up (crashed vehicle)
**Check rear Wheel bearings
**Plug Wires--Or OHM them
**Fuel Filter
**Various (Front of Engine) idler bearings including fan idler bearing
Thats about all I can think of--and for the record, i am a little more premptive at maintenance than most--maybe do all those things at 200K

Thermostat when you do TB, water pump, hoses and flush and fill on coolant.
Check rack bushings, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings, end links.

Have you considered doing an induction cleaning? I did a Motorvac service on mine earlier this year (~197K) and it really breathed "life" back into my motor. It runs better and has more power than it has had in a long time. My mpgs went way up and have stayed there too (seriously, almost a 50% increase from ~11 - 16). I will be doing this at every tune up from now on for all my vehicles.
