Look at this color code chart (POST #212). I had some 96's that were 7.5 and 8 wrap; 19" and 19.5" tall. Mine have 121K on them, I got 4". According to this, your 8 wrap (driver side) one is 19.25". I would expect to see close to 3.75"-4". Maybe 3.5 if they are sagged nice. No, 140K isn't too many. Most people desire the most miles they can get on these.

I appreciate the info. I thought thats what it might be. 3.5-4" might be to high for what I'm wanting. From what I've researched the LC coils are probably the best flex/offroad and soft/onroad mix that i've seen (is this true). Problem is i'm wanting 3" at most. Time to think up different setup.

 

Have you considered the OME springs? Those will give you less lift and inprove your ride a bit. If you lift with the LC's you'll have to do the front also or you'll have quite a bit of rake.

 

Expect 4 inches...and remember most front end lifts (spacers/OME front coils) tend to make the CV angles pretty high. I would recommend not going over 2.5 inches or you have a high chance with your CV boots puking/tearing.

Therefore, if you go with LC coils, be prepared for a 2.5 inch front and a 4 inch rear (rake). I got 4 to 4 1/4 of rear lift with my LC coils...

 

You could always buy the cruiser coils used. For insance, I will be selling mine some time in the near future and replacing them with new ones.

I just installed the 95s. Im sitting at 4.25" over stock...they gotta settle some. They have 55K on them, but they were taken off the Cruiser in 99'. IMO, cruiser spings ride MUCH better than OME's. They are softer, but firmer than stock. They really make the front feel nice too!

I'll probably end up going the OME spring route, I don't wanna go over 3" and plan on doing a dif drop with it. I understand the reason why you don't wanna go over 2.5" I'm just curious how fast can it ruin your CVs?

Edit: The reason I want the LCs is for that softer ride. To get the 3" OME spring lift I heard its pretty firm. I do have a TJM but my rear is virtually empty (golf clubs ) so i feel the back might be to stiff for what I'm wanting. I just need to make a decision

 

I ran the 891's for alittle while and liked them...I usually had no load in the rear but the ride wasn't bad at all... IMO the LC coils I have now are a better ride...but not by much. I have a 4 inch ProComp IFS lift so I don't have any rake...it sits level with the LC coils.

From seeing past users, the CV boots begin to tear or break their seal when front lifts exceed 2.5 inches. I really haven't heard anyone with problems with 2.5 inches or lower. I ran 2.5 toytec spacers for awhile with no problems.

 

My 95's have settled in 2 days to 39" ground to fender. Subtract .5" thanks to tires, that 38.5". In other words, 3.5" over stock. Just an update...
