heard that the new 04 tacoma (based on the 03 4runners) will come with a rear diff lock!!!

good news is that if this is true and our rears are the same, the 4runners will be able to upgrade with factory parts!

when i get more info, i'll let ya guys know!

I have an 03 Taco...it has a rear locking diff .. ??

 

to see if you have rear locking diff's, check for a button located to the left of the steering column

if you do, then you do, else you don't.

 

I just want to know if they are going to put the 4.7 in the new Tacoma!! Probably just wishful thinking..

 

and I do... haven't had a chance to check it out yet...after all this rain there should be some nice mud holes around !

 

I heard somewhere that the '04 Tacoma will finally have the V8! I might have to chop up my 94 and make it into a real trail vehicle once I have one of these!

 

I also read in a concept mag they are introducing a new V6 for 04 as well. It's a 3.8L I think.
