'04 Taco prerunner

I usually visit the 86-95 truck section, but my grandfather is getting the truck mentioned in the title. It is a "double cab 4 door extended cab" as carmax says. Anyway, I know that some of the TRD tacos had a factory locker in the rear. I can't tell from the picture if the truck is the TRD version or not, but if it wasn't, would it still have the factory locker since it's a prerunner? Thanks, Sean

It is possible but not likely. If it has the TRD package which includes the sticker, special star wheels, Bilstien shocks, it will have the locker too. Make real sure it is an actual TRD model because some people just add the sticker and wheels to make it look like one.

Yes, the pre-runners still came with lockers... at least I think so

Sweet. Thanks for the info about the stickers, but it wouldn't concern him if it weren't the TRD edition unless they made him pay more. It is listed between $21 and $24,000, not real sure. But the good news is that I get his 87 2wd that is in phenominal shape. He bought it brand new with 20 miles on it and has driven it ever since. That truck has lasted 20 years in good shape, including being towed to Alaska and back when I was 8 years old on a summer trip. One of the timing chain guides broke just recently and the chain ate through the front cover, so he gave it to me. Anywho, forgive the rant of an 87 truck in the wrong section, I am just excited to have it!
