02 4Runner needs a lift
My girlfriend has a 2002 4 Runner its all stock with the exception of FJ wheels & Nitto Terra Graplers. It is mostly driven on road, so the ride is important!
I am going to buy her a lift for Christmas and Im not sure which setup to go with! I have been doing my research, looking & reading on here. As of right now leaning towards the Toytec kit that includes 3" front spacers, rear OME coils & a diff drop kit for $329 Any info would be great, Thanks!

I checked out the Sonoran Steel lifts also, I like the 1.2 system but the price is a little more than I wanna spend, as for the 3.0 system it only gives 1" lift or so, I want to get a full 3 inches. I have a set of 17x9 Chrome Procomp wheels wrapped in 285x70x17 BFG Allterrans, so I think I need at least a 3" lift for them to fit properly.

I would go with the all coil lift , you can get it here
http://trdparts4u.com/Scripts/prodLi...idCategory=-80
I would run the ome 882 instead of the 881's and spacers. They are $138 a set on trdparts so it comes out cheaper than toytec. I have read fj80 rear coils give a great soft ride and have some waiting to get installed in my garage. You could go with ome 882 in the front and fj80 coils in the back.
you could do it all for probably around 400 with shocks
ome 882 coils $138 + ship?
used fj80 coils $60
fj80 oem rear shocks $70
TOTAL $268
plus front shocks , a few options $150-250. if you want diff drop +30 ,

i was wondering about the rear ome coils. do you have to get new shocks for the ome rear coils or can i use the stock ones. i was leaning towards the daystar spacer kit 2.5" lift. can i use the daystar front spacer with the ome rear coils instead of spacer for the rear. trying to spend as little as possible. also only onroad for me no offroad. if i went spacer all around i know i don't need new shocks but recommended. any ideas. don't have much to spend cause i just got new tires

If you want to keep this as simple as possible just buy either the lift you are looking at, or the lift with part number OME-3RUN which is basically the same thing you are looking at except it includes front coils rather than front spacers. Tell the guys at Toytec that you are a member of Yotatech and they should give you a nice discount. You can get all of this for under $400, everything is brand new, it rides great on road and is designed to work together. It can be used just fine with stock shocks for onroad purposes. You can throw a frankenlift together like the guy above me, but for what you are looking for it truly is overkill. Good luck.

No body lift yet, unless the tires rub! But Im sure the body lift is a pain in the ass to install! I will be ordering the lift this week...but probably wont get put on until after christmas.

the spacer will tend to sag pretty quickly so if you want close to level i'd say go with the 2" and if you dont mind a bit of a rake go with the 3".. for fitting bigger tires though you might just want to go with the 3" anyways

Go SS1.2 and don't look back....i was very impressed and steve was on the pone to answer all questions and even a few times when i had questions during install.
if you want to keep it leveled. SS7.2 is pretty much the leveled version of the 1.2 and you can upgrade it later if you want.

Lift is getting put on next Thursday! Is one of the rear coils supposed to be longer than the other? Also I measured the front Toytec spacers & they measure less than 3"... so how does it lift the front 3"?
