Ok, there is a very complicated and arduous process. I'll out line it for you, and do my best to be thorough.
The ONLY difference between the two is ONE longer screw in the 01+ taillights, so make sure you compare or your truck could EXPLODE!
- Remove old taillight using #2 phillips screwdriver. 4 screws total
- Unplug connector from old taillight
- Plug connector into new taillight
- Install 4 screws using #2 phillips screwdriver, 4 total. Tighten in a disgonal pattern starting in the right upper, and ending in the left upper corners

I was not trying to be cute, I was merely outlining the necessary steps to the taillight conversion!!
As for the front end conversion, it has been covered before.
Quick search in the "Tacoma/4Runner" section using "tacoma conversion" for keywords brought up this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/o...thread-163883/
And here on Cardomain: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2249910
They tell you exactly everything you need to do. I would suggest sticking to OEM parts, the aftermarket parts fitment is terrible.
Also, next time, SEARCH
