thats more then just a little fender cutting there is nothing toyota left.. no roof no bumper no gril and a paper thin 1/4 pannel. my truck will clear 42s without cutting anything so it still looks toyota when i drives down the road not like pink scrap metal....

you my friend, are into mudding, thats more of a crawler, pretty sure alot of people would agree that that truck would look awesome with some paint and a full cage.

IMO, the less body the better. Body slows you down in the rocks, hangs up on stuff. Paint is a waste of time on a truck that gets beat. Its all going to get rubbed off on the rocks anyway, why waste money on it?

5.13 gears? Didnt know such a ratio existed for the 8" sounds like what would go into a Dana 44

1000$ sas isn't un heard of at all. Rear toy springs, an unrebuilt front axle, your steering setup (ie basically free) .. No brake upgrades, homemade hangar/shackles
I did my SAS for a 1000 including axle, High steer, fj60 rotors, front driveline and prefabbed hangers. and the 12 pack of beer that all of the torching and welding cost me.

and Yoterup the truck turned out lookin good. It doesnt look to be 10" of lift IMO and i realize you posted that its 8 3/4"

Whats your plan for making it a full mud truck height wise? hopefully something that seems safer than the traditional 12" block or body lift?

lol no no.. i actually just traded a guy from georgia he wanted my 38s for a truck he was running so he drive down and traded me a set of 44/19/ 16.5 boggers about 1/2 tread.. so im going to re lief the rear with some bigger liefs and if i have to ill run some small blocks but i doubt i will have too then im going to use some drop shacles in the front and im going to use an M37 tranfer case and turn it down so i have better drive shaft angles.. it will be a nice project. im doing the FJ60 calipers and i bought some 1 inch wheel spacers for the front and rear so i can use my 18 inch wide rims!! lol... I DONT believe in body lifts... just my personal preferance.

Because large blocks are safer than body lifts
