Saw a red one like mine with the same set up, but silver stripes instead of gold.....amazing how different they looked side by side, lol.
GREAT on the CB and gauges and of course, fab-tastical fab work! lol...looks great, bud!

Nice picture of you out on the trail. It gives the rest of us an incentive to get busy on ours. Got me wanting to get mine on the road. Looks like a really good job on your CB mount.

Thanks Lumpy
I cannot wait to get rid of mine. The original leaf packs are 25 years old, flat and just plain worn out. The AAL that is in there was installed before I bought the truck so no telling how old it is. Currently my rear end is stiff and doesn't flex for crap, hopefully these will help alot.

I'm sure you'll notice a huge difference.
On my pickup I needed to use AAL's the rear springs are shot and 1 is broke. Installed the AAL's and now I can haul stuff but she rides like a brick. I'll be getting some Chevy's this spring and new hangers. I don't want much lift and I think they'll be flexy enough as well hold a good load.

Before pic, I think I will be getting a very minor amount of lift, currently 36-1/4" from the ground.

Out with the old, rusty and stiff

Cleaned alittle and painted alot. 3 cans of flat Rustoleum, several heavy coats.

Inside and out

All I got done, I'll get the new springs in this evening. I'll paint the frame futher up after I weld on the sliders.

Right on, Rob! That is gonna really improve your ride, period! Also, MAN, that paint and body work looks great, Buddy, .....cool you didn't have to worry about faded paint matching, etc. It looks really good on the underside painting as well.
Can't wait for the report.
