Send him a PM as to what you need...he might be able to find it if it's not listed.

Hey Rob,

My Idler was poppin all over the place, so I figured, "get a cheapo till you overhaul this thing".....went down to Kragen(O'rielly) and found they are selling all their more quality lower end parts of the brand they're cycling out for 1/2 price....got mine for 28$! Worth a try, but the sale might be over.

Good luck. They had a cheaper one, but I figured....buy the better one for the same price at 1/2 off? YEAH! LOL.

L8r Bro, have a good'n!

Thanks, I am pretty sure I busted mine on my rock crawling attempt. Either way I called around & I can get them locally for $50 all day long, probably go that route since I am all about instant gratification, I hate waiting on parts.

Patience, bro! lol. Jk, I know how that is. I'll be waiting for my lift for a couple weeks. S'ok though...I wanna do it right and don't mind hearing, "Hey, just be aware that we make them to order,....we don't just have them lying around in shrinkwrap, so plan ahead"

Looking forward to some more videos, Rob. Sounded like your friends were having a good laugh, lol.

Off topic rant time

The weather sucks this weekend, We got 2-1/2" of rain in the last 24 hours, thunderstorms all night last night. I am supposed to be taking my 4yr old little girl camping this weekend & she was / is heart broken when I told her this morning that we can't go because it is still raining & the forecast says it is not going to stop untill monday. I already have all of our stuff packed up & she has been waiting for this all week long. I don't want to disappoint her so I am going to buy a small tent & set it up in the living room. It was beautifull all week long but of course it has to be crappy out on the one weekend that I made time & arrangments to spend some quality time with my daughter. I am pretty PO'ed right about now

Sorry guys thanks for listening to be grip

No way Rob, don't apologize! BEEN THERE, DONE THAT! Both my daughters have been disappointed, many times, by weather, breakdowns, snow out of NOWHERE, lol....and what you're doing is GREAT, ..."make the most of a bad situation!" Just curious, though....my daughters and I have camped in the rain many times, ....using the 4Runner to crash in, set up tarps in a small area under cover for chillout&gear-shelter, and then had a ball getting all muddy....you sure you can't do it with the top on?...Maybe just for the day? ....Sorry, forgot to ask...'do you have a top?'

Either way, I'm sure she'll love ya for trying your best, .....and all that matters?...BEING TOGETHER, right?

Thanks Chef for the insperation, you know what ....you are right, it's only rain. We could tough it out. I have this for my Taco. Or we could take my wifes 02 4runner and lay the seats down. I bet my EZ-up is tall enough to put over either of the trucks. I am going to talk to my wife & hopefully not get shot, but I really want to make the best of this.

Wow, VERY COOL! I've seen the ones that go all the way to the ground, for my 4Runner....Looking into that, but since my build, I'M PRETTY FLAT BUSTED BROKEDED! lol

GOOD, I hope you guys have a GREAT TIME, and remember, sometimes, those moments of 'roughing it'???? THEY'RE THE BEST, and it teaches them young'ns just how the real world doesn't 'work around our schedule'.......Dang, I sure wish half the Grommets in Cali would get that point! lol. Too many entitlement driven, 'mine, mine, mine', 'what do you mean, NO?' type of kids, today.....except for these 'diy'ers here on Yotatech, of course!', hahaha!

HAVE A GREAT TIME, either way, Rob! PS> make sure to have rain boot and wear, and then MAKE MUD PIES! lol ......Btw, I would think it would be lots of fun doing a lil muddin with the lil bittle(BTW, sorry, i shouldn't say lil bittles, ...I have no idea how old she is!lol)

Sure did, we got a late start but we did camp out Saturday night & had a great time. All of the bad weather cleared out shortly after lunch time & it was actually pretty nice out for the rest of the weekend (of course that is not what the weatherman said would happen).

From: Bryan Tx,
Link on the BJ spacer install, saving it for later

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...riteup-201297/

I have finally, after a couple months of letting it sit, found the motivation to get back to work on the creampuff. Put the battery on charge last night & plan on pulling it into the garage this evening. Probablly start by finishing up half done projects like my CB & gauges. Then get started on making the BJ spacers & diff drop. Also probablly going to make some longer shackles for the rear springs untill I can get something better.

YEEEEEEEEEHAWWWWWWWWW! Can't wait to see when it's done. Looking forward to the progress!

Isn't it funny how, when you have another vehicle, things like this take a back seat SO MUCH MORE EASILY? lol. Glad you're back on it, .....but don't forget to ask EVERYONE YOU KNOW about my problem, too, ok? hahaha, jk. Thanks for all the input, Rob, and I'll be watching your progress!
