Hello everyone just picked up a 86 toyota pickup with 327k miles on it. It has been well taken care of but I’m having a fuel issue. It is leaking around the 2 piece gasket for the carb. Also after a drive and the motor warms up, after cranking back up again it take 3-4 times to turn motor over before motor cranks. When cranking up from cold it is kinda rough to crank sometimes have to pump gas 2 times to be able to crank.

I plan to install a fuel pressure regulator starting at 2.5psi which is the best to get for easiest use? I also plan to get a LCE performance one piece adapter.

I am new to carb motors so I do not know how to make sure the carb is set up correctly. I am learning though. Thanks.
