All I can say is wow. What a build man, amazing work. I have been subscribed since the beginning, your build is by far one of the most interesting and detail specific I have seen on here. Your truck is awesome keep up the good work.

Thanks

I will be getting more in to detail as the project rolls on. I have tons of interior to finish and im going to respray the bed and start the bed build once the new garage is set up. Im going to rent my spot in the shop out and bring my tools home including a tube bender, a new welder and some other goodies. Its time for armor and the interior detail...Once im done i already have another project lined up...Were calling it the walnut lol.

Ok now that things have calmed down a bit with moving and painting i thought id throw up some pics of the house and update the build.

First the build update.
Painted the tailgate, Having Scotty@ addicted offroad add his reinforcement plate to the front of the frame and see if he can figure out what moved when i hit my buddy. That should be this week sometime.
37's are on and it rides sooo much better. i do have a slight vibe on the highway from my pinion angle being a little steep but that will be fixed soon.

The truck at my buddys today...His son loves the rock crawlers.

you can see the tailgate here...Shackles out back are settling and it only took 900pounds of tools and an hour drive both ways.

House update. Moved 90% of the stuff in. I have all my stuff for the man cave and office in the old house so my brother has something to sit on and it looks like a house while its being sold.

Some pics.
Day we got to move in.

No bun in the oven i just never know what to do with my hands.

After lots of painting and work in the kitchen...

The house had to be painted!Red and yellow downstairs and up stairs greens and blues.

So for 3 days from 10am-3am we painted...The whole house.

Honey im home!!!

Thanks guys, Im planning on pulling a few leafs out of the rear and maybe up front and changing the bump stops in it because its too stiff and too tall. I dont want to cut it yet so im going to bumpstop the compression travel and see how it does.

Thanks, I still get all excited thinking about changes i want to make.

So the only issue i have had with everything was last Saturday. i was looking over the truck before wheeling sunday and found the fuel line had rubbed the steering shaft at somepoint. I pulled it back and it burst. I guess the tacoma clips failed. So i had to cut it and flare it and put a soft line in it as a temp fix. Its not leaking or anything so im not too worried but i will replace it. I need ot adjust my bumpstops cause they still are not long enough and the air bumps are not going to be an option for me now. Other then that the trucks doing well. Im thinking about adding the electric fan i used to run and getting the A/C going in a few days.

Thanks guys...Sorry i haven't been on much. I have been wrenching on the house and the truck.

What i have been up to...So the front bumpstops were short and the shock would bottom out at full compression and slightly back arch so rather then cut it all off I flipped the same style i had on the bottom over and put it on the plate. Now it its rubber on rubber and keeps it all in the safe zone. I took it out and ran 3 trails with the CoTTora crew today and liked it. When they hit they are hard but let you know they are there. I just have to move slower then the IFS guys lol. The rear springs have been getting some action and the shackle angle is better but not great and its still stiff. Pull a leaf? Order 4inch? I guess i will see how they do after the camping trip next weekend.

I made a cover plate for the firewall where the column runs through. The tacoma dash Screwed it all up and its a piece i have been putting off. Well i have to do it now cause the trail im running next saturday has a lake crossing in it and i dont wanna get soaked Plus near 100deg days and the hot air from the motor blowing up my shorts is killing me. I made one but the seal blew out on the highway...OOPS.

So i have a new idea i hope works better.

Im going to be going through the truck this week and just locking down everything. I had a weird feeling today over the rocks and i couldnt tell if it was bumpstops hitting or if i have a mount loose. I guess i should look in to it more.

the Model A left yesterday so i have my 3rd car garage back so its time to get to work..I talked to the guys with my compressor and i should have it at the house end of week. Im grabbing my welder and the rest of my tools from the shop this week to really get to work on Rock doors, rear bumper, finishing the interior and all the other stuff i keep putting off. I can pull the truck down now that i have my daily back.

I will get pics and post up pics once my GF uploads them off her camera from today...I havent seen em but i guess she got some good ones.

Did some more wheeling. The rear springs are starting to brake in with all that weight...ITS ABOUT TIME!!!

a few pics.

I got a wonderful scratch in the passengers fender that is through the clear so i will be busy over the winter fixing the paint and adding armor...oh well it was a good time.

Great pics man. I love the fact that you have a bobbed bed but it's still a 6 footer. It may have been in the thread somewhere, but did you leave it with 4" springs in the front and 5" in the back?

So far i have left it. I noticed when its loaded with the tools and tire it rides nice. I just dont unpack that anymore. So once i get the rear bumper on and armor i think it will be nice and soft. The only hang up i have is its still tall for my taste. I get tired of getting in and out. frame height is 29.5 inches so im not all that tall but with my buddys 4/4 lift hes way lower. He also has a topper and duals and a 3.4....I guess its ok to be a little taller if im light?

As of now the plans are to finish the interior, Wheel it more, Get the IFS hubs on start buying the marlin fj80 tierod ends cause the TG ones are junk. I had one bad one and one is now getting loose so im not replacing them with TG ones again.
