It runs really well. I still have to get shocks, install the front shaft, get a new exhaust, and then i can probably put the bed back on. I still have to do some body work on the bed though. I will get pics soon, i know you guys love pics!!

Hey everyone. I have not been able to update this thread in a while because i have not worked on my truck in a while. The reason why is because on november 29th, i broke two bones in my right foot at work. I have been slowly getting back into working on the truck tho.
I got the shocks, exhaust, and driveshafts installed. The next things on my list is to take care of my bed by doing some body work. I also have to fix the drivers side caliper from sticking. Heres a picture of how it stands now...

thanks man. I know it doesnt look the best on the outside yet, but its whats on the inside that is really somethin lol.
So i put on the new calipers today, so the brakes are all set. I also put on new battery terminals, and wiper blades. Only things left to do is to add the exhaust hanger, install the seat belts, and get a rear bumper =]

Hey everyone, another update.
I had a little trouble last night, i got the truck stuck on a trail a few miles away from my house. I had to call my friend to yank me out. He had to borrow his dads GMC 2500 roofing truck to pull me out lol.
Here are some crappy pics from last night:

I got stuck around 9:30. I was stuck for 1 1/2 hours, which is not too bad, but it still sucked. I ended up getting out around 11.
I had to work this morning at 6am, and i got like 5hrs of sleep. lol
Here are some pics of the truck in daylight:

the truck looks clean because we had rain overnight, but there is still some mud on the hood lol.
I also got the truck inspected, which i am very happy about.

I have been working on a 2007 tundra, so i figured i would show you guys what ive done to it:

I put HID's in the lows and fogs, Billet Grill, and new headlight housings.

Oh, and i figured i would add a pic of what broke two bones in my right foot last year:

New here...Lookin for some good information

Alright, so I'm in the middle of a rebuild of my '85 4x4 pickup. I'm about 3/4 of the way done until I try to fire it off, but just wondering if anyone had good ideas on time savers, maintenance tips, etc...Let me tell you about the truck:
'85 4x4 SR5
22RE, SFA
I Spun the #4 Rod bearing and when I disassembled the motor, it lookid like it had been put together dry! Every last bearing was scored into the copper, and the motor only had 75K on it. I took it into Don and Anthony at Don's BC Machine Here in Roseburg, and Had it reworked. .040 over on the bore, Balanced, .435 lift cam, heavy valve springs, and a Headmann short header, and 2.25" exhaust into a 40 series flowmaster. Will the computer handle such a big cam? anyone have experience with this? The machine shop told me they had never put this big of a cam in a computerized yota. They offered to change the cam for free if it didn't work, but just curious before I get this thing completely done, and findo out it doesn't like it! lol

Hey everyone, here is a lil update:

This was from work today.

I am getting projectors from the retrofit source in the next couple of weeks so i will post up some pics of that.

Plans after the retrofit:
-Rear bumper from wabfab
-Front winch bumper from either badlands or addicted off road
-New bench seat(don't like buckets) possibly a 60/40
-Interior mods...carpet, speakers etc.

In the future:
-That kit from Blazeland looks tempting to me...

Let me know what you think
thanks

So i couldn't pass up this deal on craigslist for some bushwhacker extend-a-fender flares:

Now i won't have to worry about mud alongside my truck =)

Next i want to get a new bumper, and a lift...

Just got done installing my TJ coils. I just got them today in the mail too.
I had to cut 2 inches off the springs in order for them to fit.
I love the way it rides, but i still need to get BJ spacers to kinda even it out lol

Ya, let me know how the ride is...I have heard of folks using them but I just don't know what the ride's like. Right now I have cheapo load leafs from Advanced auto, the half spring that bolts to the back of the leaf pack. I'm thinking of going this route as well until I do the 63 chebby swap.
