Thanks Colby.
Good luck with your 93!
I've got 31s (you've seen the pics) and I can't get more than 20 MPG if I try on the highway. I rub a little here and there, but I'm sure I can do some trimming of the inner liner.

I can cruise in 5th, but if there's any sort of hill and I'm doing less than 50, I have to downshift.

So I'm looking into buying some tires...
I like the general grabber at2. I was given a price of $748 to have them mounted/balanced with new valve stems. Tire size 31/10.5/15. Does this sound right?

Go to nearest Sams wholesaler and get a set of BFG All Terrains 31x10.50x15 for $64 bucks more installed with lifetime tire hazzard and balance & rotation :} I got a quote for $814. That's the route I'm going!!!! Or around $700 for size 30x9.50x15 in the AT...

thanks john4wd for the quick reply.
I really like the general at2's though. I may have found a cheaper price for them at $138.00 a piece. I should be buying these either this week or next week.

NWOR was popular at one time. But it seems like it's faded into the background. I haven't heard of any new products in years.

So i haven't posted here in a while. My truck was down for a while because i warped my head from over heating my motor. The radiator leaked all the coolant out and the motor got too hot. I have since replaced the radiator and purchased a new cylinder head. Got the truck running about a month ago and I've been enjoying tinkering with it again.
Here are a few pics of what i have been up to:

Great build man! I had the AT2's on my Silverado and loved them. Really clean truck, inspiring me for my '91.
