What are the model # for the Alpines? I went to Best Buys on Black Friday and the one in Lafayette IN doesn't carry 4 inch speakers of any brand, I want to know how they sound after you got them installed, better than stock? let my know :} Thanks

Nice Alpines!

I got some Blaupunkt 4"rs, few years back, LOVE EM much more than the stock crap that was in there. It's funny..... around the same years, the stock Cressida's had GREAT decks! Made by Alpine, I believe, and with 2- 5x7's in the rear, maybe 4 other speakers in there, they sounded REALLY good, especially having a 10way EQ, stock.

Still haven't put my deck in, ....grrrrrrrrr! lol. Can't wait to have the BT and Voice Command thingymadoer all set up, but mostly, I just want to be able to plug stuff in to the USB and Small Port! lol. Now I'll have movies while camping with GOOD SOUNDS, through the speakers, too!

Buddy of mine put in a 32" Mobile LCD in his Long Bed 4x4, in the rear..... All kinds of sounds, etc. It was a TV for a Boat/Yacht...... When you pressed a remote, it dropped down from the ceiling. He romped on that thing and it never screwed the TV up, lol... he must have better luck than myself with electronix! lol.

Sorry, ....'TANGENT/OFF', lol.

yup, im still looking for a head unit. i kinda want to get a touch screen so its double din and takes up the entire space as the stock unit did. issue with that is, the depth isnt that much from what i have heard so i have to be careful with what i go with. i dont need any cd player, just a media player, everything has gone to USB/Flash Drives now
you friends set up sounds awesome but a little too much for me haha
so lets end the year of with this. guess my friends got better things to do than come help me install it haha

Oh that ARB bumper and winch look awesome, beautiful!!!!

I've had a multi media stereo KD-R900 JVC for almost 3 years and it had the dual USB input, It's my 4th JVC stereo and never have had one problem with them and my daughter in her Prizm has a JVC 36 and has CD and USB input and I have had the same CD in it for almost a year, it's a MP-3 comedy I burned along time ago. When I feel down I switch it to CD and laugh, Look into getting a JVC there great systems and reliable too :}

Gorgeous, Toyo!

Double Din, eh? Yeah, I almost bit the bullet on that and decided to just plug in my tablet when it's needed..... Mainly cuz a long time stereo guy I know said he's having lots of people coming in with double dins having issues...... "More to go wrong", as he said, lol. I've seen the JVC units at Pep Boys, 279$ or so.... I Know, I know, ....there are betr places to find them, lol. Soundstream used to be good I guess.... now not so much. My buddy has a detailing biz and loves the infinity's, ... has 2 of them, one 2dr one 4dr. Both of them have double din pioneers... He swears by them and says "Never can find a more easy to use unit with such clean sound/clarity/clean graphics." ..... Happy Hunting, bud!

thanks. matches really well imo

far those that remember or been following, my last axle housing mod failed due to spring perches where to wide

so heres round two!!! much easier and faster the second time

can kinda see the slight drilled areas. i used a largest bit that would fit in the hole to mark it. than im gonna use the correct size. iirc it was 17/64 drill bit

gonna take the motor to work and tear it apart, see if its really dead or just needs to be cleaned, if not i got another motor i can slap on it
