sctrep's 95 4runner build

Grinder, hammer, welder, tape, cardboard, cutoff wheels, primer, paint. Make a template with the cardboard, transfer it to the tailgate, cut out needed metal, being patient weld into place, prime and paint. Pretty much how it goes. Just take your time and don't cut too much off. Lol. Thanks for the comments. I'm thinking about dropping in a 302 Ford into it soon. Just waiting on a couple more parts.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I am thinking it is going to be a little trickier since i have to work with the fiberglass on the Gen1. I think I am going to try and keep it removable but I am not sure if I will keep the tailgate window functional or just install something fixed in place. I kind of want to make an entirely new top. I have alot of ideas but no experience so we will see how this goes haha.

Do you have any pictures/advice on how you extended your rear links? I am planning on doing this to my 4Runner.
Any help would be great, thanks Larry
