I've liked this bumper and winch mount for a long time. The first time I saw it I was like "how did his truck go from ifs to sfa while he was doing a bumper?". Maybe you can do the same?

Glad you approve sir! Not quite happy with the aesthetics yet. Still need to massasge the ends and now where the winch mount slides out. I think I will need to lower the bumper to reinforce the sides. Or build a brace of some sort. More to come.

Great thread RBX! I'm new to Yotatech and 4runners...traded a couple of computers I had sitting around the garage gathering dust for an '89 about a week ago. Joined Yotatech looking for power window switch info, searched it which brought me to your thread. What a read! I started at your first post and am now up to date.

Where did you get your switches? PO had straight wired an electrical cord to window motor...plugged it in to factory inverter one way to go up and reversed it to go down. I picked up a 6-pole toggle from local elecrical shop to get me by but I really want to move my switches to the console like yours.

Your mods really have my mind spinning....love your rig.

I guess I'm sorry as well RB. I thought asking you about the switches you installed IN THIS BUILD THREAD was on topic. Didn't mean to offend anyone.

PO's "switch"

Some forums are more welcoming than others....anyways, very nice rig.

Welcome to yotatech, the wealth of knowledge here is staggering.
I used SPAL switches bought from SPALUSA.com iirc. The wiring is straight forward for the switch if you have the FSM. The rear window is totally different from the fronts because the computer controls the rear window up/down motion. If it's not in my thread I can explain how to mod the switch from SPAL to work when you are ready.
Good luck

Hey don't sweat it, Brian's just messin with you. That plug is actually for a work light that I have never seen but it's on the manual. So I guess that outlet is always hot.

It's all good...you never know about some forums til you post. Seem like nice guys on here.

Rear window also operated in same manner as driver....home run electrical plug from back. Thinking about pulling the carpet as you did, rewiring and soundproofing per your posts.

She needs a lot of work but has potential....taking a break from my FS Bronco project anyways.

Yes it is always hot since it runs off the Dome light circuit.

Wait, that thing is an inspection light socket???? What inspection light is that? lol. I have that as well, and I always wondered what it was(I know, should've hit the FSM, lol. I didn't have an FSM when I stopped trying to figure it out, hahaha). I thought it was a trailer package thingymadoer, hehe. What do I do with that thing/Can I do with that thing?
