Hey RB, ...dont' throw anything at me, ..and excuse my failure to find it...but WHERE IN THE HECK did you put the Inverter? lol. Is it behind that mesh shield? I looked back a page, can't seem to find it. I have a 750W one I want to install maybe in the pocket in the panel(Actually, have the plugs sticking out there, and mounted to a block of wood or something... )That way, it'll be 'mid-truck',...so when I'm in front, run a cord, when in back, run a short cord. Make sense? I'll update on my thread, about to tackle that soon! Thanks for the inspiration! lol. OH, ....and I should run it through a relay/and/Switch?

The inverter is in this pic follow the big orange chords(2). I only ran it thru a relay/solenoid(constant duty) so I could remote the switch and hide the inverter. I just leave the inverter switch 'on' and then the remote button sends power thru a 4awg wire. My inverter is only 400w.

Toyotech,
The panel is from an 86, and only had one hole for the clutch cancel switch, I cut the other two and the used lexan behind it to create the lip and an area for the switch to snap into.

thanks, yea i dont remember any trucks or runner having more than one opening. mine being auto, i have one blank spot where the clutch cancel switch would go. i really like to move some of the center controls to that area but than again i like having my passengers roll down the back window for me.
i been playing with this idea of using RFID to roll the rear window up and down when im back there

I moved my window switches all to the center console so either I or the passenger could roll any window down. I moved the window lock and rear wiper control to the driversjde dash. I'll get a pic up of the center switches. I used SPAL switches for the windows since a rear window switch is just a ground.

THANKS! Did you know what I meant about putting it in the "SR5 Pockets"? the plug holes I mean?) lol.... I know, I'm not the best at this stuff, but I do it right, ...just takes me longer to figure out the spaghetti soup routing! lol. FREAKING GREAT IDEA AND APPLYING THEREOF! Love it, RB, ...I'ma do it!

BTW, .... I have a waterproof 12V car type plug I want to install OUTSIDE, ... was thinking on the hitch or something.... I would put a fuse, would that be fine? Just let it be constant? It's got a waterproof cover for the insert.(I'll post you a pic on my build when I get to that, lol).

I though about the sr5 pockets, but a. I couldn't find a car plug I wanted to use and b. With the lack of cup holders and storage I favored the idea of having a bit of flexibility. I would liked to have put a hard mount in the passenger kick panel.

We stay in ocean pines, and go to the Assateague beach because there is alot less people. No I did get the beach access pass, $75 for the year, and theis weekend you couldn't drive on the bean anyhow, so it would have been a waste.

I have never used the rear wiper, eventhough it works perfectly, so I moved the switch to the decklight location.
I also wired in a volt meter into the back panel so I can monitor the battery while out back.... Never tested it till this weekend and it works perfectly!

Thanks for the compliments.

Hopefully she'll get new shoes and tube doors before OBX. Need to get crackin on my door hinge disconnects and electrical connectors on the doors for easy electrical disconnects.

that must be a blast driving topless at the beach.

one of my best memories was at OCMD many years ago, the wife and I borrowed her brother's modded J**P and blasted Sublime's Santeria song several times over and over (couldn't figure out the CD player) cruising Coastal Highway feeling like we were teeny boppers. an enduring memory about 13 years later (i remember it was one night she and I were "allowed" to go out minus Joe....good times)

92,
It is good fun topless, this is the main reason i bought this truck, and always desired one. Many, many moons ago i bought my first 87 Toyota pickup Xtra cab 4x4, only because i couldn't afford a 4Runner, it was 1990.

Just, .....checking in .....and, ............. hmmmmmmmm, .... NO PAXTON SUPERCHARGER YET? Geeeeesh, ....and where's the helicopter propeller adapter so you can just fly away? Man, what a let down, I thought this thread was gonna be exciting! hahahahaha, jk... LOVING IT! Yeah, it doesn't hurt that it's pretty much THE SAME FREAKIN TRUCK, .....Oh yeah, ....without the weezee on my end, lol.

Did you see that thread, btw, that's discussing the HYPO 3.0? I was checking it out, but it seems like it took a "NU UHHHHHH" turn somewhere.....which is fine, it's actually good info and interesting in part, lol... Just curious if you saw it.

WANT VIDEO OF WEEZEE ROLLIN! lol.

You are funny Mark... I'll get some video up soon.
As for the WEEzee, i am only maintaining it, no special mods, not trying to squeeze more hp out of her. I just want it to last about another year til I'm ready for the TDI swap. I do have a problem with modding what i have now....like i mentioned above, yet i did the ISR mod, crossover pipe mod, EGR/PAIR delete...i even did an oil change! With all that said, i have a few trips planned yet this year and I'd like her to get me there and back under normal operating conditions.

Yeppy, .....lol... had to search in the search box under 3.0... it's not that active. You'll see. The one i saw with the 'arguing'(for lack of a better word due to mild heat stroke, lol)..... is NOT this one>>>>

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...0-torq-237257/

It's another one that's talking about 22re Hypo Set ups. (how to get more power) or something. I unsub'd from both, as I have wayyyyyy TOO MANY lol.

that thread is real interesting, and a 190hp 3.0 for under $2k seems like a hell of a deal.
