Ahh Jackie you beat me to it lol....

Well guys we went out to TN today and had a blast....

We mostly played in mud. I must admit I did get stuck twice. The first hole had a ledge that I couldn't bounce over so some Chevy pulled me out.

The second time I got stuck really ended my day. I sat and looked at the hole for several minutes before I chose to try it. As soon as I drop into the hole it was over. The hole had about a 4' drop off. It happened so fast that I couldn't even hit reverse. As soon as I seem the water hit my hood I shut my truck off. I was just seconds to late. The water went straight down my intake and hydro locked my engine. After I was pulled out I tinkered with my truck to get the water out. Once I dried it out I tried starting it and my starter wouldn't engage. Forcing me to bump start. It started fine except its knocking like crazy. Before I made it back to the main road it blew up. I lost all my power and it sounds as if the rod is about to drop through the oil pan. Thanks to Jackie and her husband they pulled me back to AR with a tow strap. Here's a pic of the hole that killed my freshly installed 22RE that only lasted for 2600 miles. Lol

You know guys I'm not even upset. I really had a blast and enjoyed my self. My truck may be broke but I still had a blast. Here's a vid that Jackie took of me.
I believe that Jackie may have more pics and vids if so once I receive them I will upload them too.

Yeah it was completely unexpected. I mean I new i had to worry about the air box location but no one realized that hole was that deep. I mean as soon as I pulled into it my front end dropped. I tried shutting it off but I was just a second to slow....

She's already clean..... About 1 hour at the car wash and 15 dollars later lol. I had Jackie to tow me into the car wash prior to going back to my hotel. So we both cleaned our rigs back up. Then I ended up tinkering with Jackie's once we got back to my hotel. This morning I went out and shined my interior back up. Looks as good as the day I painted up.

Nice! Good to hear. I almost forgot that it's now grey. My buddy saw that the other day and immediately knew what color it was. He said, "We always called that tool box grey, Toyota has a similar color on the mid 80's 2nd gen pick up and 4 runner."

Really... Tool box grey.. Thanks chef lol.... Yeah it's kinda a weird shade of grey. When I was spraying it, it was a dirty brownish grey. But once dry it looks pretty good IMO

Well I went and picked up a new remanufactured engine today. 2 hours there and 2 hours back.. That's cheaper then shipping. The new engine is bored .20 new ported cylinder head along with 268 torquer cam. I'm pretty stoked about installing it. It's never seen oil or fuel so I don't know how to react to that. The machine shop told me once its installed that when it first starts I need to hold the RPMs at 1500 to 2000 for at least 20 minutes to properly seat everything. Does this sound right to you guys. I mean it does have a 3 year unlimited mile warranty so they gotta know something right.

Now I gotta get another price of pipe to go from 2 1/4" to 3". Then shorten the pipes and weld them together.

Please note that AFM is not a good one lol. I'm just using it for the mock up lol.

Once I'm done I gotta relocate the battery, install the engine, and break it all in. This little guy should run like a champ when it's all said and done. "I Hope"

Oh yeah... If I'd just get my rear in gear and swap them out. I've yet to loosen the first bolt. I mean I want to do it, I just don't feel like it.

I think I have post mortem depression lol. I was all excited to go buy a new engine. But now that I got it. It's not so exciting lol.
