Last tank I got about 242 miles on the tank. which is ~15 mpg. But the gas light is a bit flakey on my truck. I have a lot of body roll, so the gas light turns on/off for about 15 miles. I really don't get gas until the light is ON even in the turns.

I got it from a company called Lotek, inc.

http://www.gaugepods.com/toyota.html

Be sure to order a black one. the gray is not gray. its more of a silver color. it will not match in the slightest. I resprayed mine with a rustoleum can from home depot. closest thing I could find.

Finally got around to digging into my rear window yesterday. Popped the panel out, and found no relay? I guess the previous owner removed it and just didn't reinstall it. I found one in my box of spare parts. popped it open, checked everything, slapped it in and it worked flawlessly other than the rear windshield wiper giving me a little headache. Once I got it to seat on the top perfectly. everything works.

its an extremely tight fit. I actually still cant use it currently because on a TG bumper, it requires a steel hawse fair lead, otherwise. it'll rip it all apart. I've also considered welding a couple beads on the bumper mount to make it permanent and not have to worry about it going anywhere. You literally cant get the winch out of there without taking the bumper off.

Yeah the window was a strange fix. I popped the panel off and found that there wasn't even a relay installed? I had a spare sitting in my garage, Popped it in, and it was getting power to it from both switches. I turned my windshield wiper on, turned it off. it clicked, and boom both switches roll the window up and town. Can we say topless for California summers?

Did a tune up on the 4Runner:

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, belts and Trail-gear Silicone Hoses.

Also slapped on a steel hawse so the winch can be used. ( trail gear doesn't recommend a roller hawse on their bumper because it hangs low. )

Not particularly.

I have a few parts gathered for my rear end swap. Trying to track down a set of 6" all pro springs. not sure if I want to buy brand new or pick some up used.

But I have the new rear spring mounts, new shackle mounts and shock mounts. I also have a blue sea fuse block that needs to be installed but I haven't found a place under the hood for it yet.

I went on a trip with I8hmud.com i'll post pictures of it later on today.

I think you'll be happy with the AllPro springs, I just recently swapped in their 6" rear lift and am really happy with them. Since they flex so well off road, I was expecting more body roll and sway when cornering on the hwy, but I was surprised at how well they handle!

Look forward to your wheeling pics!

Im just worried of how the truck will look sitting on 35s... I'm gonna pull a leaf from the front TG pack and make it a 5 leaf. of course keep the removed leaf and maybe swap it in later. but this truck has 29" of frame clearance. if I can drop it down to about 25-25.5" that'd be great.

I need to make a trip to pick n pull and snatch up a 2wd 3vz oil pan, and the LSPV delete brake line T. and also relocate my steering stabilizer.

Then I should be able to lower it down.

I have about 26-1/2" to 27" frame clearance, but I'm running 6 leaf RUF springs up front. If your shooting for 25" of frame clearance you might need to go with their 5" rear lift springs. Of course I also don't have a rear bumper or spare tire, and my springs are fairly new, they might settle a little more.

I'm running 4" HD TG up front w/ chevy 63s and 4.5" of block in the back on 37s... its too tall.

I haul a lot of gear when I go camping too, plus my spare, and more fuel. And I sag with what with it loaded down. lol

nice. tree damage?

do you think my 100-series will fit down that trail? it's one i've been considering attempting, but didn't know about trees and the one decent climb i read about. recently, I somehow fit the Cruiser through the trees on the Corral Hollow trail.
