sure thing man, just been following the build and i gotta say, i love all the details. The peal and seal the led strip all simple but great stuff. Also, the fact your vids on the lce exhaust setup were the first ive seen to do it justice. Now i know what i got in store for myself when the time comes!!!

So when you got time to spare throw some stuff up here it will be much appreciated!

Looking awesome Jason!

So, uh, what are you doing with your passenger window switch now that you're swapping to the 1989 panels?

Hehehe. You still haven't found one, huh? My plan, since both my panels are in great shape, was to sell the set for $100. The passenger switch is actually the weak link of the set. It works but you have to press your thumb into the middle of the switch, then roll in the direction you want the window to go, similar to getting your fingerprints done.

I saw the fix on 4crawlers site with a little jb weld and a grinder, but never got around to it, since I have my own switch to run that window.

I ended up with an extra one actually. I had to piece this set through 3 spots. Switches, wiring harness and brackets from a junk yard, and 2 sets of panels from craigslist and eBay. They are not the best of shape, but I cleaned then up to make em respectable. I'll still be on the lookout for a clean set of panels, just won't be looking as hard now.

You have done an amazing job with your runner and this thread. Makes me want to go back and edit the first post in my thread. I really like how you included the links.

Thanks. I got the idea from Codyx36, honestly. I thought it was a good idea. I also try to give credit to folks. Hence the links. I wouldn't have half of these things done if it wasn't for YT. And 4crawlers site. Lol. I need to check up on your bodywork, you were going all out last time I checked, it was looking good!! I'm not sure if I could do what you are doing in regards to fixing that quarterpanel damage. I would have curled in a corner and cried.

Thanks guys. It's all coming together quite nicely. It helps all the guys up here have a lock on parts. We are kind of spread out, and we are always on the lookout for each other. It helps scoring deals when they hit.

Next time I have a rainy weekend or can't sleep one night I will go back and add links to my first post. I was also thinking it would be cool to list the post #'s in my own thread to make things easier for people to find. I want the thread to be informative and helpful to others.

I did curl up in a corner and cry about the body damage, but only for a week or so before I had to try and do something about it. Sometimes you learn lessons the hard way, and fixes come from neccesity. I wasn't sure I could pull the body repair off either but it looks decent for now. When you find yourself in a situation like that you really don't have a choise but to pick up the pieces and try something you have never done before.
